Download OBS Studio

OBS Studio is the industry-standard free broadcasting software. It works on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Go to obsproject.com and download the latest version
Install using default settings — no special configuration needed yet
Launch OBS Studio after installation

Minimum requirements: Windows 10, 8GB RAM, GTX 1060 or better GPU, 10 Mbps upload speed for 1080p streaming.

Get Your Stream Key

Your stream key is a unique identifier that connects OBS to your Latin Empire X account. Never share it publicly.

Log in to your Model Dashboard at Latin Empire X
Navigate to Settings → Broadcast Settings
Click "Generate Stream Key" — copy it to your clipboard

rtmp://stream.latinempirex.com/live/

This is your RTMP server URL — paste it in OBS together with your stream key.

Configure OBS Settings

Open OBS and go to Settings → Stream. Enter your server and stream key.

Then go to Settings → Output and use these recommended values:

Video Bitrate	4500-6000 kbps (1080p)
Audio Bitrate	160 kbps
Encoder	x264 (or NVENC if you have Nvidia GPU)
Keyframe Interval	2 seconds
Resolution	1920×1080
FPS	30 fps (60 for VR shows)

Add Your Webcam & Audio

In OBS, add a scene with your webcam and microphone sources.

In the Sources panel, click + and add "Video Capture Device"
Select your webcam from the dropdown — use the highest resolution available
Add "Audio Input Capture" for your microphone
Optionally add a "Background Image/Color" layer behind your webcam

Pro Tip: Use a ring light and position it at face level for the most flattering lighting. Natural light from a window also works great.

Connect Lovense Interactive Toys (Optional)

Boost your earnings by enabling tip-activated toy vibrations. Lovense toys are the top choice for cam models.

Download Lovense Connect on your desktop or mobile
Pair your Lovense device via Bluetooth in the app
In your Model Dashboard, go to Interactive Toys → Connect Lovense
Toggle "Allow Lovense to connect" and follow the pairing steps
Set your tip levels: Low/Medium/High vibration thresholds
Enable "Special Commands" in the Lovense app for full viewer control

Important: Both your Lovense Connect app and OBS must be on the same network (same WiFi). Do not use a VPN during broadcasts — it will cause connection issues.

Go Live!

Once everything is configured, you're ready to broadcast.

In your Model Dashboard, click "Go Live" to activate your stream slot
In OBS, click "Start Streaming"
Wait 5-10 seconds for the stream to connect and appear on your profile
Set your show title and tip goal from the live controls panel
Your viewers will see a LIVE badge on your profile instantly

Before going live: Do a test stream with Stream Delay set to 0 in OBS to check audio sync and video quality. Use the Preview feature in OBS to verify your scene looks good.
